Labor Solutions has gained partnerships with multiple industrial companies that need our assistance to help with hiring for their job opportunities. We are in search of a 2nd shift Industrial Electrician to join their team.

The Industrial Electrician will perform and coordinate maintenance and repair of the manufacturing plant's machinery, equipment, buildings, systems, and related electrical equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, sketches, PLC Programming Equipment, and instructions:

1. Plan, layout and install electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.

2. Make electrical repairs, diagnose problems, replace, or repair components, test and make operating adjustments.

3. Modify existing electrical systems and circuits, work with PLC’s, and prepare wiring diagrams to record changes.

4. Replace building and production equipment such as motors and control panels as required.

5. Repair electric motors and test in electric shop.

6. Fill out maintenance logbook.

7. Maintain inventory of electrical materials and supplies.

8. Coordinate work with other electricians and follow-up on projects/ electronic testing equipment.

9. Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems.

Use electrical meters and gauges, common hand and hand power tools, hand carts, high lift and ladders. Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.

To perform this role successfully, the following job competencies are required:

· Use all varieties of precision measuring instruments such as electrical meters and gauges - equivalent to a complete electrician's apprenticeship years’ experience.

· Knowledge of punch press equipment and metal forming processes a plus.

· Team oriented Safety conscious Self motivated

· Perform duties to install, repair and maintain production and building electrical systems and equipment.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

· Minimum 5 years’ experience.

· NAPA Certification
